Apple Winter Bake

Updated: Nov 1, 2019

If you are looking for a fuss free winter dessert, try this comforting apple bake using Something to Crow About's Almond Maple Cacoa grain free blend. Just like a baked potato, a baked apple keeps all the juices in and is super simple.

Apple Winter Bake with crunchy almond maple topping

  • 6 x Apples

  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup

  • 150g Something to Crow About

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  1. Set Oven to 200c

  2. Core size medium size Braeburn apples carefully so you end up with whole apples and a one hole through the centre.

  3. Place them in a small baking tray (just big enough for the apples).

  4. Stuff the hole of each apple with a tablespoon (or 2 if necessary to fill) of Almond Maple Cacao Paleo Blend

  5. Drizzle the apples with Maple Syrup (use more if you like) and sprinkle cinnamon over.

  6. Pop in the oven for 1 hour at 200c or until just soft and turning golden brown.
