Sunshine Smoothie

They’re refreshingly cool, come in fun, fruity flavors, and are served with a straw. What’s not to like about smoothies? If you’re having a smoothie in place of a meal, look for a smoothie with some protein and fiber, so it will be more likely to hold off hunger for more than a couple of hours. If your smoothie is a between-meal snack, you’re better off choosing the smallest size possible.


INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/2 cups apple juice can also use almond milk, skim milk, coconut milk or other flavor of juice.

  2. 1 small handful of Something to Crow About Almond muesli

  3. 1 banana sliced.

  4. 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries.

  5. 3/4 cup vanilla Greek or coconut yogurt.

  6. 1 tablespoon honey or other sweetener optional.

  7. Optional garnish: Something to Crow About Muesli

METHOD

Simply blend all ingredients together until smooth.
