Texan Style Fry up



It all began with a fairly bare cupboard and a hungry husband. This colourful southern style fry up is quick, easy and delicious, and surely nutritious too. Perfect for a mid week meal.

Ingredients:

6 x chirozo sausages

1 can of corn kernels (whole) or 2 ears of corn

2 cups of roast veges (leftovers)

1/2 red pepper

1/4 -1/2 cup Chilli Mix Roasted Seeds Sprinkles (Something to Crow About)

Sweet chilli sauce

Method:

  1. Fry sausages in a large pan - whole.

  2. One almost cooked remove from pan. Drain excess fat and fry up roast veges.

  3. Slice sausages into medium sized pieces and pop back into the pan.

  4. Add can of corn (or fresh uncooked corn - which tastes even better) and fry together till veges heated and sausages cooked through. Add seeds and combine.

If you like it extra spicy add a dollop of sweet chilli sauce. Enjoy.
